>Materials Needed:
>
>Red Twist paper 18 inches
>white twist paper 4 1/2 inches
>1 inch wooden ball with a hole in the bottom
>8 inches narrow white satin ribbon
>small amount of wire or string
>gold star garland
>Spanish moss or dolls hair
>
>Cut your red twist paper in the following lengths:
>
>red - 6", 7 1/2 ", 4 1/2" (don't untwist this length, it's the arms)
>
>Fold your 7 1/2 inch length of red in half, so it's now 3 3/4 " this is
>the body.
>Put some hot glue into the hole of the wooden ball. Now push the two
>ends,
>(the neck) of the folded paper into the hole. Take the 6" piece of
>white,
>untwist and round off the corners so you have an oval shape - do the
>same
>thing to the 4 1/2" piece. Place the white paper on the top of the red
>paper.
>Pinch the two together in the middle and tie together with wire or
>string -
>this is the wings. Glue under the head in the back. Using Spanish moss
>or
>dolls hair place the desired amount on the wooden ball, gluing into
>place.
>Now take the untwisted 4 1/2 " piece of red and slide it inbetween the
>front
>and the back of the body piece. Slide as close to the neck area as
>possible
>and glue into place. Twist into the desired shape forming the arms. Now

>the garland and twist around two fingers forming a circle, inter twining
>it
>around it's self. place on the top of the hair - this is the halo. Form
>a bow
>with the satin ribbon and glue at the neck in the front to cover any
>glue. If
>you want to hang this, add a ribbon hanger on top of the head before
>adding
