CRAFT TITLE: CANDLE IN A WREATH ORNAMENT

>MATERIALS: 1 - 12" chenille stick (green or red)
> 25 - 6mm round red beads
> 24 - 18mm green starburst beads
> 10 - white tri-beads
> 1 - yellow rice bead
> 1 white ribbon bow (could be green or red)
> 1 - ornament hanger
> low melt glue gun
>
>PROCEDURE:
>Take one round bead to the end of the chenille stick (leave about 1/2"
>on end) Follow round bead with a starburst. Alternate between round
>beads with the starbursts. When all of these are on, form chenille into
>a circle, twist ends together. Point the long end of leftover chenille
>into center of circle. Place the tribeads on this piece to form
>candle. Top with yellow rice bead to form flame. Glue white bow ribbon
>on with low-melt glue gun. Use ornament hanger to hang from tree.

>PROCEDURE: Take 3 pieces of chenille, glue at center each to the
>other forming a -x- shape (6 sliced pizza). On each stem, place in the
>following order 1 round bead, 1 tri-bead, 1 round bead, 2 starbursts, 1
>round bead, 1 tri-bead, and 1 round bead. Twist the end of one to hold
>the ornament hanger.

>PROCEDURE: Cut a gingerbread-man shape out of the cork. Use a cookie
>cutter for the pattern, or do it freehand. Turn so the "feet" are at the
>top. The 'feet' are the antlers, the 'arms' ears the 'head' is now the
>nose. Paint or draw straight lines from end of antlers, meeting in a V
>where the tummy would be if it was still a cookie. Draw a couple of 45
>degree angle lines upward from the main lines. Glue red bead or pompom
>at tipof nose. Paint or glue wide round eyes centered above the nose.
>Cut 2 holly leaves from the green fabric. Glue at base of V . Glue bow
>on top of holly.

> acrylic craft paints - black and bown
> paintbrush
> opaque paint markers - black and white

> tacky craft glue

>PROCEDURE:
>Cut out a 1/2" wide x 1-1/2" long strip from one cardboard roll. Cut
>out another strip just behind this one.
>
>Paint the three cardboard rolls brown. Let dry. Paint the bottom 1
>inch of the two uncut rolls black for hooves. With paint markers, paint
>the eyes and nose on the cut roll, adding a white dot in each pupil and
>a long comma like stroke on nose after black paint is dry.

>Spray clay pot white on the outside (it may take several coats). Make
>sure you coat bottom of the pot, too. Heat up your hot glue gun.

> 30" plastic lanyard
> 1 pony bead
> 2 oz. bubbles

>PROCEDURE:
>Cut a piece of plastic canvas as follows: 5 holes wide and 12 holes
>long. Be sure to keep plastic mesh intact on both sides. Counting down
>six holes, cut in from each side, one hole, making a paddle shape that
>is 3 holes wide at one end and 5 holes wide at the other. This is the
>bubble wand. Punch a small hole in the lid of the film canister. Thread
>one end of the lanyard through this hole from outside inward. Thread
>the lanyard through the center of the 3 hole end of the plastic bubble
>wand. Bring the lanyard back up through the same hole in the lid of the
>canister. Draw both ends even and place the pony bead over both lanyard

>Cut 2 strips of fake fur each 6" long. Glue one around the center of

>center will form the hat with fur. The bottom one will form the beard

> 5 pieces of paper cut to a square size (3 1/2" square is anice size)
> 2 pieces heavier paper (greeting card) or cardboard

>PROCEDURE:
>Cut a 1/8" satin ribbon approxiamtely 14" long. Lay it aside. Cut 5
>sheets of paper to a square size. For a smaller book use paper
>approximately 3 1/2" square. Fold each piece in half from side to
>side. Open it back up and fold it in half again from the opposite sides
>but so the folds are bending in the same direction. Now, open it flat
>and fold against the bends from corner to corner in a triangle. Do this
>only once. Unfold and crease on the original 2 folds to make a pocket.
>Do this with each of the five pieces. Using white glue, attach one side
>of a square to one side of anotehr square, making sure all pocket
>openings are pointed in the same direction. Continue doing this until
