Dishcloth Bunny
Dishcloth Bunny
From: Maureen Schneeberger
First you take a handtowel and you fold it in half lengthwise. You then
take a washcloth of contrasting color, and you make a triangle from two
of the corners meeting at the middle. You then fold the dishcloth in
half, lengthwise. You lay it on the bottom half of the handtowel, just
below the crease. This will be the ears. You take the other dishcloth
and do the same. You place it just below the ears being sure to leave
enough room to make the head. Then you fold the top part of the
handtowel over all of it, and using ribbon, you pull the ears up and tie
tightly with a ribbon. You then grab the handtowel below the ears and
make the shape of the head, using ribbon to make it tight. They you do
the same to the apron. When using ribbon on the dishcloths, you come up
from the bottom of the dishcloth, not the towel. On the apron, you cross
the end of the dishcloth over (in front) to make a shawl effect. Just
add eyes and a nose to the face, stick some flowers in the top of the
apron, and you have it.
