Afghan-Granny Square (crochet)

Afghan-Granny Square (crochet)

PUFFY SQUARES AFGHAN

MATERIALS: Any size hook; 3 colors of 4 ply worsted weight yarn. (The afghan in
the picture was made of a basic granny square using a size J hook and 3 shades of
purple yarn. Afghan fits a full size bed and used 132 of first color, 204 squares of
second color, and 102 squares of third color.)

DIRECTIONS:

Crochet the desired number of squares to make the size afghan you want. Fasten
squares together with a sl st starting from the center and working your way out. You
may want to graph it out first so you can see how to arrange the squares before you
start joining them. After joining all the squares, make a border around the edges using
hdc with the main color.
