Tissue Paper Carnations

Tissue Paper Carnations
These are easy and fun to do. I remember as a child making hundreds of them
>and hanging them all over the house. Drove Mom nuts!
>
>Take 3 or 4 (or more if you are feeling frisky!) sheets of tissue paper (I
>always mixed my colors) and fan fold them. I did mine different sizes.
>That is, some were folded very small and some were large. What you have
>left is a thick skinny length that you fold in half and secure with a pipe
>cleaner or string (depending on whether you want to arrange them in a vase
>or hang them). Then you open the fanned ends and carefully separate each
>sheet of tissue paper and arrange them to resemble a carnation.
>
>Their cool and really snazzy decorations.
